What we offer
To build something disruptive, change industry and take over the whole market. Step-by-step.
Target group
We build tools for chip designers, people who create new schematics and layouts which are manufacturable in a foundry like TSMC.
Challenges
Achieve product-market-fit. The market is very rigid, very hard to make sales without existing product.
Our Story
I have registered company in May 2023 in Estonia. Though physically I am located in Germany.
I started with a friend who was technical co-founder. We both started in bootstrapping mode. He was a great developer and was responsible for technical part. I am responsible for product, company's vision, communication with investors, customer interviews and social media (find us on LinkedIn)
In the January of 2024 we decided to pay license fee, 9700$, for OpenAccess Coalition membership. The OpenAccess is semiconductor industries database format. All data of all chips in the world are designed using this file format. We could not continue building prototype without it. The pace become still slower because of missing C++ guy.
We have about 20 NOs from investors. I have been blocked by designer from Bosch :) and scratched the doors of small and big companies.
I have found a few people who really like what we do, who see a big need for this, but who do not have the money.
The standard startup has one product. We want to provide holistic design environment, which would mean 4 products in minimum. Though, I am in negotiation for partnership with one big company to use their tools in the background and cut corners.
In November 2024 we went to pitching event to IMEC.istart. We were 1/65 applicants. 20 were invited, we also. After two days, and two pitchings we did not get it in. 6 were chosen. I lost my technical co-founder after this.
I launched in April OA Viewer tool website (without ready product) to test the market and my LinkedIn network. I have received in sales funnel only one "Get a Quote" request for 10 accounts, but without any marketing budget. :D Plan is to collect LOIs to prove to investors that product can sell.
Now I am looking for a new co-founder.
Found one potential investor and stay active in bootstrapping mode.
