Hi, I'm Andreas. I’m an engineer with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning. My journey started with a degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl.-Ing.), followed by a doctorate in Medical Sciences (Dr. scient. med.), where I worked on decompression research.
I gained hands-on experience in embedded systems development across different industries. I worked at a startup that developed dive computers, a rebreather, and various technical gadgets for the diving industry. Unfortunately, I was only an employee and not a partner when the company was later acquired. After that, I joined an engineering service provider, working on hardware and firmware development for embedded systems in a wide range of industries. Eventually, I transitioned into freelancing as a firmware and software developer.
Outside of work, I love staying active. I played underwater rugby for years and now enjoy hiking, road cycling, mountain biking, skiing, and, most of all, scuba diving.
